There has been many discussions over the last few committee meetings about the exposure of large fish caught on our stretches of water over social media sites including Facebook, this is attracting unwanted people to our waters catching and killing our precious natural strain of trout.
We have had to deal with some individuals posting big dead fish online, caught on our waters recently.
The committee has proposed that posting any pictures of fishing or fish caught on Osprey’s waters on any Social Media platform is to be BANNED, except by admin on the official Osprey’s site.
If this rule is broken the person’s membership will be terminated and they will also be banned from buying a day ticket from our outlets.
The Albion in Pontypridd and Garry Evans in Cardiff would be told they cannot issue day tickets to the said individual.
This was agreed by Everyone.
